'INTIMATE FOE'
'INTIMATE FOE'
'INTIMATE FOE'
Intimate Foe is a dance piece intended to raise awareness of plastic pollution. Plastic is a fascinating material, invented by humans and superior to natural materials. It finds its way into every area of human life, because it has a great advantage over natural materials: plastic lives longer! But what do you do with a material that doesn’t disintegrate, rust or rot? Collect in dumps or dump into the sea? The dance piece takes up these thoughts: plastic in its fascination, its diversity, and how the natural and the artificial creation relate to each other.
Using Kathak dance, Vaishali confronts the two ideas - a world of immense beauty with the rampant use of plastic and its frightening consequences.
Choreography – Vaishali Trivedi

CARTE BLANCHE I SYMFONIA PIESNI ZALOSNYCH
Ten years after its creation at the Montpellier Danse Festival, Kader Attou / Accrorap Cie covers "Symfonia Piesni Zalosnych".
With this Symphony No. 3 called Complainant Vocals, a major work by Polish composer Henryk Mikołaj Górecki, the choreographer summons ten dancers on stage and pays an upsetting tribute to the mother, wife, the one who carries the origin of Life...
STILL WATER
Life seems always to be fragile at the moment on this planet, -environmentally, socially, and existentially. Tomorrow is a threat, and that the earth and the people could suffer badly if we neglect the negative effects of pollution, plastic, flooding and trends of social conflicts due to urbanization. It is important to spark up thousand little lights and to introspect, nurture and protect them. A synthesis these two paradoxical realms of the ultra- saturated urban city-space and the introspective nature of spirituality takes clear form in this piece.

IDIOMAS
(Indo-French Hip hop & kathak duet)
One speak English and Indian, one speaks French and Spanish. One hip hop dance, a kathak dance. The differences are many : sex, religion, origin, geography, culture, traditions ...
For years, Vaishali Trivedi and Sebastian Lopez Vela communicate in other parts choreographers through their dance, carried by their body. Today their deep desire is to end up on a plate and to express themselves fully and in their own way through this first communication. The dance becomes speech and language, it breaks the barriers of the deep differences.
And if the only language movement was, could we communicate?
The universal language Does it really exist?
It's all about the meeting between Vaishali Trivedi and Sebastian Lopez Vela.

“Over 20 years, my dance approach has been sculpted from the grinding and blending of various aesthetics, through encounters with different styles of dance- kathak, hip hop, contemporary, flamenco, etc. The complexity of experimenting with these diverse forms made me realise how strong my kathak roots are. In fact, I could easily connect and decode them and add impetus to the whole creative process. I believe the key in my journey is to build bridges, create links and some sort of dialogue beyond/ through differences. These exchanges have helped strengthen my aesthetics, while pursuing the same question. How, movement is born out of an emotion? This questioning is the founding feature of the ‘Half Circle' enacted by eight exceptional Kathak dancers.
Virtuosity in technique is never an end in itself, what counts above all is the emotional imprint of dance on the viewer. Music from Vivaldi to Pop plays a crucial part, in stirring the various emotions and brings forth the united energy of the dancers. In this creation each dancer with his/her strengths, unique style honed over the years, initiates a journey from the roots of kathak to express one’s self.”
